Specialised Disability Accommodation (SDA) is purpose-built or modified housing for participants with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. SDA homes are designed to make daily life safer, easier and more independent.
We support participants to understand their SDA funding, explore design categories such as improved liveability, fully accessible, robust and high physical support, and identify housing that genuinely matches their needs and preferences.
SDA covers the home itself, and is generally paired with Supported Independent Living for the day-to-day supports delivered inside it. We help coordinate both so the housing and support arrangements work together seamlessly.

How We Deliver This Service
We work with participants, families, support coordinators and allied health professionals to document housing needs and match them to appropriate SDA options. Where SDA and SIL are combined, we coordinate both to ensure a smooth transition and consistent day-to-day support.
